I switched to a digital camera a few years ago not only because of the convenience, but because they have less of an impact on the environment. The difference is in the printing. It's so easy to go through and delete a picture, but think of all the bad pictures that got printed before digital cameras. And all that wasted paper was simply thrown away. So now, every time I take a picture, I review it, delete the bad shots and take them again if I need to.
Digital cameras are not only great for the environment, but they save money as well. With traditional film, I ended up paying for every print, even the ones that didn't come out. Now, I pick which pictures I want to print, and I actually found this great service at Walgreen's that offers an amazingly cheap way to print my digital photos online.
Walgreens is even extending this special to all MGC readers, but only for a couple weeks from June 9th through the 19th. You can get 20% OFF any online photo order through MyGreenClick. Just click here to upload your digital photo albums and get hard copies of your favorite pictures via the mail. They have other deals for us on the way, so be on the look out for a special email from our friends at Walgreen's.
